Hi! So lets get to the general information first, I'm an actor born & raised in North Central Texas. I received my Masters from the A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program after I received my Bachelors from the University of Evansville.
Now to the fun stuff! I started taking acting classes thinking it would lead to tons of money that my best friend and I could use to buy more toys. Hey, I was only ten! That motivated me to pursue the arts in High School, and onward to higher education. My time spent in college and graduate school was absolutely transformative, to say the least. In my work, I strive for a genuine representation of what it means to be a human being. Most of us say we go to the theater or to the movies to be entertained, but I don't believe that's true. Entertainment nowadays is cheap and can be found on a 5.5" screen that we carry around in our pockets every day. Rather than entertainment, I feel the true reason people buy these tickets is to feel a connection. To feel something that we can't quite describe. Try as we might, but even with the most simple and beautiful words, there is something about witnessing or being a part of a true connection that we just cannot articulate. I believe that's what keeps us alive. Being an artist is a wonderful way to make a life. I've traveled and met some pretty spectacular people thus far. Even with the trials this career carries, I'm incredibly thankful for my journey and I'm excited to see where it goes next.
Along with acting, I've always had a passion for anything with an engine and wheels. I started working on cars and motorcycles when I was 15, doing everything from basic maintenance to major engine swaps. This led to the creation of my Webseries, Gearhead Garage! This is a show that's dedicated to the folks with grease under their fingernails who love to build their dream cars. To learn more, be sure to follow the hyper-link above! In the end... I would describe myself as an actor first, with "gearhead" running a close second. Thanks for stopping by!
